As a sock brand we have a natural love for great shoes. Socks and shoes go so well together :).
A while ago we visited a fair for organic products and found the coolest pair of shoes – made from cork! A natural and sustainable material used to make this great pair of shoes. Goes really well with a pair of Jigger as you can see.
The best thing about having your own brand (in my opinion) is to meet your customers and hear them say that they love your product. There is nothing that compares to that feeling.
This summer we met a customer who told us that he has stopped using all other socks in his sock drawer apart from ours. He loves the soft cotton and the comfortable fit so much that his wife has to wash his pair of Sock Designers over and over again. Yes – he has only one pair :).
When I was a child all summers were fantastic. The weather was lovely with sunny and warm days, birds were singing in the trees and butterflies were flying around. Or perhaps I chose to remember this and forgot about the rainy days? Anyway, this summer is something else. The weather has gone mad and it won’t stop raining. And it’s cold too – about 16 degrees.
The weather people keep saying that this is what Swedish summers will be like more often due to the climate change that is happening. Anna and Charlotta, creators behind the Swedish brand Cotton & Button, have been smart and launched a “summer hat” for colder days. I’m sure they’ve sold a few this summer!
Right now we are very busy with choosing colours, matching colours, finding inspiration and doing sketches for the coming autumn collection. It’s very enjoyable and satisfying work. Hopefully you will like what we make. In early September you will know.
Many customers have contacted us and said that they wish we made tights as well as socks. This is a great idea and something we have been thinking about since the start of Sock Designers. And now it might become reality! It all depends on if we can find the perfect fit and everything else that makes a good product of course. But if things go well we will present some tights this coming autumn.
One important question is of course if we should make tights (with foot) or leggings (without foot)? What do you think? Let us know your thoughts on this matter and please write shortly why you prefer this style instead of the other.
Easter is soon here and to celebrate this colourful time of the year we thought it would be a good time for a contest amongst our fans and customers. The idea is simple – if you make a purchase before the easter weekend you have the possibility to win your money back.

Up until now Sock Designers has been all about patterned socks. This is great but there are days and occasions that need an alternative, and therefor we have created a new collection of single coloured socks. They are made from the same wonderfully soft organic cotton of course and with the same fit as our other styles. We hope you will enjoy them!
