The best thing about having your own brand (in my opinion) is to meet your customers and hear them say that they love your product. There is nothing that compares to that feeling.

This summer we met a customer who told us that he has stopped using all other socks in his sock drawer apart from ours. He loves the soft cotton and the comfortable fit so much that his wife has to wash his pair of Sock Designers over and over again. Yes – he has only one pair :).

When I was a child all summers were fantastic. The weather was lovely with sunny and warm days, birds were singing in the trees and butterflies were flying around. Or perhaps I chose to remember this and forgot about the rainy days? Anyway, this summer is something else. The weather has gone mad and it won’t stop raining. And it’s cold too – about 16 degrees.

The weather people keep saying that this is what Swedish summers will be like more often due to the climate change that is happening. Anna and Charlotta, creators behind the Swedish brand Cotton & Button, have been smart and launched a “summer hat” for colder days. I’m sure they’ve sold a few this summer!
